Pokerstars disabled paytru card payment!!!

For some unknown reason to me pokerstars has changed the way you can deposit funds again...Meaning you CANT use paytru card anymore!!!Why?
I have no idea,there better be a good reason for that since that was the only way i could deposit funds on their page.
Does anyone else have the same problem?

Tunica 2oo8. WSOP Circuit event

Is anybody planing to go to Tunica in January?I am...there will be plenty of affordable tournaments(I'm talking about 200$-300$ buy-ins) and that's a perfect chance to see where I'm at in texas holdem NL game.
As for the records i have not even two years of experience , but I've been playing cards since i remember myself...good luck everybody...the new King is coming!!!hehe
Just kidding , but iam looking forward to be in Tunica in January 2008.

FULLTILTPOKER room rocks!!!

I just downloaded fulltiltpoker software and started playing immediately...
The graphic is great , much much better then pokerstars...and their tournaments selection is also very good.
You can easily navigate their main lobby so go ahead and give yourself a break from other boring poker places and DOWNLOAD fulltiltpoker.As soon as you start you'll see what I'm talking about.
They are the only place online that give you up to 600$ extra when you sing up(that's if you deposit 600$)...pokerstars gives you only 50$...so you tell me which deal is better?

Can you "get rich" playing sit-n-go tournaments?

The answer is VERY UNLIKELY!!!Even if you are one of the best players , most of the time the blinds are so quick so you cant keep up with that pace...Once you are ALL-IN you'll either get lucky or knocked out (outdrawn by some lucky aggressive idiot that plays every single hand)...
Most of sit-n-go tournaments on Pokerstars are 15 min. blind levels at best(i mean the slowest when i say the best), i don't know about other websites but that is pretty fast when you start with 1500$ in chips...so you have to have a plan and of course some strategy...that's why when i have a choice to invest 5$ on either sit-n-go that pays for 1st place 450$(180 players) , or to play a regular tournament where if there is 1000 players the 1st place is at least 1800$ to 2000$, i choose second one.
But there are some good poker sit-n-go tournaments strategies and when combined with tracking your opponents performance at sharkscope.com you can do pretty good at sit-n-go's...just beware...even if you get to final table you have to be in first three spots to get a bigger cut...otherwise you'll be barely making any money.

Ok, pokerstars have finally introduced this NEW method of deposit.Now you can deposit straight from your checking account, but the number of people that can do that is limited...If you are the member of pokerstars network then go ahead and take advantage and if you're not then you can easily sign up.

World championship of poker !!!is it gonna happen soon?

As Texas hold em is becoming increasingly popular in Europe i was wondering if there is going to be a world championship in poker on a national level...something like world series of poker only for countries(nations) to compete not individuals... It would be very interesting to see how USA players(doyle bronson , johny chan ,phil helmuth) are competing with Canada's guys like negreanu , tuan lam etc...Asian countries would also have a lot to offer too...Guys like nam le , jerry jang , scoty ngyen , man the master and so on... Also some smaller countries from Europe would have a very good line up.Denmark would be led with gus hensen ,Spain with carlos mortensen ,Russia of course with the WSOP '07.final table finisher kravchenko etc... I hope in the near future i would be leading SERBIA...hehehe

online poker is very important part of my life.Both as a game and as a chalenge it keeps me fokused for a long period of time...i like to compete and texas holdem is a perfect form...therefore i would like it to be legal so i dont have the fears of whats gonna happen if the website cannot process my transactions due to a online gambling act... it is a lot of fun playing poker with people from all over the world. also most of online poker site-s let you chat with others so it is social Game too...dont forget its only a GAME ,so it shouldnt be forbiden...
Hi - I'd like to add my voice that I really enjoy online poker (not other online gambling, which is distinct). In Georgia, where live casino or home poker games are not allowed, this is particularly of value.
I would favor the US Government:
- legalizing online poker, so that sites could be run here
-that would provide jobs for Americans
-
it would also allow better regulation to reduce the participation of minors
-
and, instead of costing us taxpayers lots of money to try to prohibit offshore poker playing, we could be taxing legal poker winnings to bring in billions in tax revenues.
-
with our devastasting deficits, that would be highly desirable.

POKERSTARS

Depositing money on pokerstars has been much easier since they introduced PAYTRU card...
It's free to get and then all you need to do is upload some cash to PAYTRU card,then you can deposit to pokerstars with that card.
But there is a little problem...About 3 months ago i recevied a call from my credit card (the ona i used to uplaod the money to PAYTRU card), and they told me that someone tried to upload 600$ from my card...that wasnt me!!!
and as it turned out they didnt processed that ...good...but there was a clear sign that something is wrong there with PAYTRU card.
Is it a scam?i dont know...but be carefull...very very carefull...and if you do upload some money erase that card from the system and you will protect yourself from possible fraud!!!

Pokerstars deposit option-PAYTRUCARD...is it a Scam?

recently i opened paytrucard account, since that was the only way for me to deposit some $$$.
After couple months i received a call from Bank of America telling me that someone attempted to deposit 600$ on paytrucard...I was really pissed...transaction was blocked anyways but it did gave me second thoughts about that card.
Did anyone had similar experience?
How are the other websites on that matter ?(fultiltpoker,titanpoker,ultimatebet...)

should online poker be banned or no?

is it legal to play texas holdem in USA?
there is so much confusion on this matter that i decided to post a blog and see what people have to say...personaly i think it should be legal because its a GAME above anything else.
Especially tournaments...its all about competition...not gambling...thats what made poker so popular...Tournaments!!!
Anyway i would like to find out what people of United States of America think about this issue
